Longtime readers of my webcomics might recognize this dress from before, originally featured in this now-ancient limited print:
It’s Walky: Joyce in Dress by ~itswalky on deviantART
Those of you who want a bigger version of today’s strip to crop up for your desktop wallpaper or something, as has been asked, I’ve uploaded that for you over at DeviantART as well:
Why do you use P.I.T.A. Flash to show a simple picture?
Otehr than that, love what you are doing with this strip.
I don’t know what PITA Flash is. I’m just using what DeviantART uses to inline their stuff on external sites, which in this case would be mine.
I guess if PITA Flash is so terrible, you can tell DeviantART this, and maybe they’ll change it. Until then, I’ll continue to use whatever DeviantART makes available.
She’s just saying that you could have simply embedded the images from dA instead of using their flash thing.
I feel like that’s stealing bandwidth, though. They give me an inline-graphic thing, I should use it if that’s what they suggest. If I had a paid account, I’d feel okay about being more direct about it, but I don’t.
PITA = Pain in the ass. IMHO, it would have been better if you had copied the image from dA, and hosted them on your site. Of course you would give credit where credit was due for the images.
How many of your readers read your site on portable devices that don’t support Flash, or they don’t have Flash installed because of security concerns?
I understand portable devices that don’t have Flash, but people who don’t install it because of security concerns? I’ve got some nice tin-foil hats to sell them to keep out the evil people trying to steal their brainwaves.
Feel free to tell continue telling DW how to run his web-site though.
That is a simply gorgeous picture.
heh or i could be wrong and she could still be smashed out of her mind and miss ruth entirely
