Perhaps Joe? I’m a bit disappointed he’s not here. I know that he doesn’t know Amber is Amazi-Girl, unlike everyone here (or almost everyone), but Amber and Joe are apparently about to become step-siblings, so she has a reason to invite him, and maybe even tell him about AG.
Wasn’t the hat meant to be a symbol of a reduction in Dannyness? Like, Hat-Danny was “a good egg”, while No-Hat-Danny was the one who danned things up?
Joyce will start calling him ‘Danny’ again and show no conscious awareness that he and ‘Hat Guy’ were the same person. She will even actually ask Sal “Whatever happened to Hat Guy?”
Series finale? No. But Willis has stated that this storyline and the kidnapping one which preceded it are meant to be taken as a season finale.
Which sadly means that the timeskip tomorrow will probably breeze past Halloween, since the upcoming previews show snowy weather/entirely bare trees, and in-universe Halloween is just a few days away.
I scrolled down to look for this thread, it’s the type of season finale that we would get left with if the executives cancelled the show. It’s mostly (?) wrapped up and open for more story but we’ll never get it unless Netflix adapts it years later. That kind of feeling, ya know?
Carla bit down on the hat with her teeth, and threw it away with a toss of her head, like a reverse terrier. That’s why her mouth is wide open, and her hair is in motion.
My headcannon is she said, “Up here, your hat is garbage,” and tossed it away, quickly putting her hands at her side in a triumphant stance that’s mostly blocked by the characters in the foreground.
Darkwing Duck had a species of evil alien mind controlling hats. I used to theorize that Dina’s hat was one of them because of the visible eyes, but Danny’s makes more sense.
Hmmm, come to think of it, that one on the right kind of looks familiar…
Tomorrow’s strip shows Joyce’s church awash in a sea of blood as the entire congregation (sans her family) lies dead in the pews. A man carrying a bloody knife pulls out a photo of Joyce before crumpling it in his hand.
I was thinking more along the lines of Hank being the guy with the knife, who goes berserk a la Galahad in “Kingsman” and takes revenge on the church for allying with Blaine and giving him the bail money for Toedad, which set all the previous events into motion.
This feels like it ‘should’ be the last strip in the chapter, like the last scene in the last episode of a season.
I wonder if we’re going to get a ‘time lapse’ of strips featuring different important locations (the dumping stairs, BJC, etc) gradually progressing from ‘fall’ to ‘winter’, ending on the first strip of the next semester/chapter/book/season/episode.
Well I for one am glad that we’ve recognized that what has happened in the college life of Joyce Brown and by extension a bunch of other weirdos is by no means common. I swear the past three months for them has felt like ten years!
Me thinks Willis decided to leave coronavirus out of this universe for good reason. The sliding timescale would’ve brought the virus in to the spotlight for at most two weeks in Dumbiverse time. And then it would be awkward for it to just disappear after two weeks.
Just the end for Danny’s hat I’m guessing, but on the little preview descriptions for the strips on patreon he said it’s a series wrap on leaves for yesterday’s strip, so I guess that means we’re not going past winter?
It’s a huge tone shift as we follow the journey of Danny’s hat as it lands on the heads of different people from different walks of life and changes their lives in significant ways, not always for the better.
It looks like it will be another night of studying for James Newsomb, as he heads to the Library to do some research on plays by Marlow.
While it looks like any other night to James, tonight is different. He won’t know when it happened, but the hat James found on the ground outside Reid Hall, will lead him into: The Twilight Zone.
I don’t have patron but what I can tell you is that tomorrow’s strip will have a tree in it and something yellow (well two yellow things). Also I think a car.
if it did end here, I’d be sad because it feels like there’s so much more to explore with these characters, particularly around Mike and Amber and Becky and how they develop now that.. things have changed significantly with them! But also, it feels like this would work very well as an ending so I think I’d be satisfied.
This is only a series ending if it’s cancelled when the showrunners think they’re getting another season, so they don’t have to tie off ALL the loose ends and can set up more character development to come.
If this was a series ending, Mike would have either woken up or died. Amber would have left school or been told that they were taking her tuition from Blaine’s estate or that JoeDad would pick up the bill.
Jordan’s deal would have been revealed, and Joyce would have discovered that she has a sister.
And Linda, Carol, Naomi, Sir, and maybe Charles and Ethan’s-dad-whose-name-I-can’t-remember would have been hit by buses.
(OK, maybe that last one is just wishful thinking.)
There will be a substantial time skip, so the next book/chapter will be like a soft reboot, but it’s not the end. Like you said, there are plenty of loose threads to tie into.
Everything thoughtful has already been said, so I’ll just say that my favorite character referencing my favorite meme made me really happy. Thank you Willis. :3
Berets don’t have brims by definition, and while I can’t say for sure they never have buttons, it’s not typical – either it’s flat, or it has a pompon or a…I’m not even sure what to call the little ‘tail’ of felt that comes out of the top of a typical Basque beret.
Definitely a nice concluding shot of our heroes as this part of their lives comes to an end. I’m sure that Sarah is sort of relieved now that she ddn’t have an “interesting” freshman year!
I wonder if Dorothy is consciously aware that she has her arm around Joyce? Or if Joyce is consciously aware of Dorothy doing it?
Placing my bet: we’re going to time-skip to the start of next semester. That jumps us neatly over winter break, gets Becky enrolled, and allows time for things like style changes – we know from previews Joyce has slightly different hair, and I think Sal is going to let hers go natural. And if Mike is alive we’ll also be able to drop in further along in his recovery. Just makes sense from a story perspective and with the scale DoA moves at. In any case, excited to see what lies ahead!
Skip thanksgiving but there are 3-4 weeks after that before the end of semester. That’s 3-4 YEARS of comics. And end of semester is the end of a lot of things as kids and couples split for a couple weeks. Plenty of drama there.
Tomorrow: we have a shot of a pile of rubble. After a moment, the top of the pile starts to shift, until slowly but unstoppably, BLAINE’S HAND reaches out, grasps at the sky, and grabs hold of the pile. Cut to black.
I have said it before, I’ll doubtless have cause to say it again. For me, one of the main points of this comic is Joyce her and two ladies. and here they are in the center of a beautiful, beautiful shot.
As the couples pair together in the last panel (Becky and Dina, Ruth and Billie, Joyce and Dorothy (WAIT, they’re just good friends, for now) ), Danny and Hat suffer a breakup.
Let Willis have a well-deserved vacation, but we all want to embrace Jocelyn, watch Carol get her comeuppance, Mary have a redemption arc, Becky and Dina… being Becky and Dina, and SO MUCH MORE!!!
Yeah, I highly doubt Mary will get a redemption arc. Unless her conversations with Malaya in art class go somewhere after Malaya figures out her gender stuff, but that’s being very optimistic. Although if she does learn something, I can definitely imagine a scene between her and Carla where she says something like “I realize that I was wrong before but I’m not sorry because you’re still a dirty sinner just like everyone else! Muahahahaha!”
Prediction. Season end in that we will skip Halloween and move from late summer to early winter. Halloween would consume a full year of kids in costumes if DYW let it, so he won’t. We won’t see Hank and carol break up or any funerals.
We are two months in. Last words are a wish for uneducational time. So skip the next month. That gives everyone a month where nothing exciting or educational is happening. Next book opens after Thanksgiving is my prediction. Drama reset and characters set for new adventures.
Goodbye, Danny’s hat
No-one ever liked you at all
Or the ukulele which
Drove his dorm-mates up the wall.
You crawled over his haircut
And you whispered into his brain:
“Be a manic pixie dream-boy,
And be aimlessly inane.”
And it seems to me, you lived your life
Like a beret in the wind
Never know which head to cling to
When the rain set in.
And they damned him for his Danning
But he was just a kid.
His beret took off long before
His legend ever did.
it would be funny if they released it but it was just a cinema painted on the side of a cliff

‘COYOTE VS ACME’ has been officially saved by Ketchup Entertainment, who bought the film for $50M
They plan to give the film a worldwide theatrical release in 2026.
do y'all remember when they found all that tf art in Osamu Tezuka's drawer post-mortem because I think about it often
anyway keep chasing your bliss and draw weird shit, god knows we need that right now
Today in #9ChickweedLane I learned that I have to weigh which is worse: the cartoonist already forgetting what this guy looks like one daily strip later, or that, yes, he's actually meant to be an old man, not a victim to an older cartoonist forgetting what young people look like
Like any average American, I’m for universal basic income and abolishing the police. I can’t get on board with these ultra-leftists calling for the universal hive mind, though!
maura quint@mauraquint.bsky.social ⋅ 1d
going to start calling myself a centrist and then listing all my leftist views as proof, just going to start moving the overton window by force
I've spent the past few days reading through the entire archive of @damnyouwillis.bsky.social's Dumbing of Age and this has been stuck in my head for about 90% of that time.
Season finale?
Also I totes have the feeling they will learn ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
aww, Amber rejoined the group, big moment
You have to learn moral lessons, or someone will die.
…oops, wrong link.
You have to learn moral lessons, or someone will die.
Wait, there’s a Willis crossover I’ve been neglecting all the while? Welp, I know what I’m bingeing this holiday weekend.
Hmm, I thought the next storyline doesn’t start until September 10, so what will the next 4 strips entail?
TOMORROW: In a dark room, we see a gathering of Mary, Raidah, Asher, Rachel, and of course Sydney Yus. THE AXIS OF SOMETHING RE-FORM!!
I assume we will need some kind of closure with whats going on between Joyce’s mom and dad, perhaps a final conclusion leading to divorce.
I’m pretty sure that’s going to be one of the long-term plot threads of Season 2.
Has to end with someone in bed and there is one person stuck in bed right now
It’s just an exterior shot of Read Hall, with voiceover of all the characters remarking about the day and wishing each other goodnight.
The next 4 pages are clearly gonna be about Danny going on an epic quest to discover why the hat has to go.
Obviously.
The timing of my prediction may seem a little unfair, but I did make it before reading the next page, so in my book that counts.
the hat has served its purpose.
I have been hoping the hat would die for ages.
Now the healing can begin.
GOOOOOD riddance
(maybe it’ll take some of that danny-ness away with it)
We can hope. Although he Danned stuff up before the hat.
It may have merely amplified his Danning abilities if recent events are anything to go off of.
Don’t cry victory too easy. Danny could just turn up in a beret or, even worse, a trillby!
Wasn’t the hat meant to be a symbol of a reduction in Dannyness? Like, Hat-Danny was “a good egg”, while No-Hat-Danny was the one who danned things up?
The hat didn’t stop him from Danning up that conversation in the hospital with Ethan.
Hey, when did Danny come back? And where’s Hat Guy?
Danny’s HAT!
OH NOES!!
(blow winds, blow!!)
I was reminded of the first episode of Kimagure Orange Road, when Madoka’s hat went flying and Kyosuke caught it.
I was just thinking the same thing, and imagining who could be standing just off-screen to catch it. But alas, Danny is no Madoka Ayukawa.
Danny: “MY CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!”
Oh nos!! How can Hat Guy be Hat Guy with no hat?
“Wait, this could be my next character arc!”
Betelgeuse: Hey. This could be a new look for me.
Joyce will start calling him ‘Danny’ again and show no conscious awareness that he and ‘Hat Guy’ were the same person. She will even actually ask Sal “Whatever happened to Hat Guy?”
The real dapper cap is in your heart, Danny, not on your head.
That’s the real overarching theme of DoA.
The real hats were the friends we made along the way.
The real friends were the hats we made along the way?
The last time I was this early, Joyce had absolute faith in the church.
But seriously, this has some “end of series” energy. Willis would tell us if this was the end, wouldn’t he?
Maybe the buffer strips are just a lie and he’s been planning to sutprise end it this whole time.
I feel like it’s more “end of book.” Willis does not tend to be coy about his series finales.
Aw, I hadn’t thought about that, I was kind of hoping to see everyone’s costumes.
Maybe he is using “series” in the British TV sense?
So 5 episodes a year, tops?
Oh, be fair, it’s a lot more than that. 6, in fact.
We got so close.
I scrolled down to look for this thread, it’s the type of season finale that we would get left with if the executives cancelled the show. It’s mostly (?) wrapped up and open for more story but we’ll never get it unless Netflix adapts it years later. That kind of feeling, ya know?
Maybe the syndication rerun ratings and DVD sales will be high enough that the network will revive it.
Is the hat just blowing away? Carla seems to be watching it, but isn’t posed as if she’s the one who threw it.
She’s using her telekinetic abilities.
I figured it was magnetic induction, since she’s engineering, not Psych. Now if she was a psych major, then yeah, I’m all in with Telekinesis.
Maybe she hid a drone inside of it when he wasn’t looking so she could strike at the most hilarious moment.
Now we say our final goodbyes to the hat, now that Danny has been freed from it.
So who is going to ruin this moment and how?
Carol. Escorted off campus but not from Joyce’s life.
Series ends. With Coma and lost loves haha.
Or danny’s hat is magical super alien powered and its gonna revive Mike to kick off the super powered arc :p
Darkwing Duck had a species of evil alien mind controlling hats. I used to theorize that Dina’s hat was one of them because of the visible eyes, but Danny’s makes more sense.
Hmmm, come to think of it, that one on the right kind of looks familiar…
Dina’s Hat is more like Wade the duck’s life preserver from Garfield and Friends, reflective but (probably) not in control.
Has anyone drawn Mike wearing the hat?
what a gorgeous last panel
(and not only b/c my joyce/dorothy heart was pleased)
I notice that there are 3 pairs where one has a hand on the shoulder of the other.
Becky/ Dina.
Ruth/ Billie.
Dorothy/ Joyce.
And Sal has her elbow on Bro’s shoulder.
Don’t sink our ship.
It’s fine, elbows are not hands and therefore don’t count.
I noticed that too! Dorothy is moving the ship along… she’s getting into the idea…
But if Joyce hooks up with Dorothy, she then has to hook up with Amber. Those are the rules.
If Joyce gets the hang of hooking up, there won’t be any rules.
Danny, when did you get here? And where’s Hat Guy?
Note: Hat Guy died on the way back to his home planet.
Aw, man, ninja’d!
Danny’s hat! it may be lost forever if it goes over the edge in the dark! (I’m assuming from the lighting that it’s now after sundown on Garbage Roof)
*Hat lands on random guy’s head* Guy: “Maybe I should learn to play the ukulele…”
*catches dannys hat in my mouth like a dog catching a frisbee*
So this is the point of demarcation for the big tonal shift, right?
Like tomorrow, Billie is a werewolf.
Teen Wolf 1: Basketball
Teen Wolf Too: Boxing
Te3n Wolf: Cheerleading!
…Honestly, I’d watch it.
Same!
Tomorrow’s strip shows Joyce’s church awash in a sea of blood as the entire congregation (sans her family) lies dead in the pews. A man carrying a bloody knife pulls out a photo of Joyce before crumpling it in his hand.
Joyce’s mom is whacked out, but not South Glade Mission Church-level whacked out.
Yet.
More importantly, she isn’t a man carrying a bloody knife.
Either that or she’s really really good at keeping secrets.
I was thinking more along the lines of Hank being the guy with the knife, who goes berserk a la Galahad in “Kingsman” and takes revenge on the church for allying with Blaine and giving him the bail money for Toedad, which set all the previous events into motion.
But I guess this ain’t that kind of movie, bruv.
Way to introduce Ninja Rick into this new universe! Really dramatic.
Okay, now cut to the Head Alien.
Before or after he crumples Joyce’s photo?
wish granted joyce.
you won’t feel like you learned much from college <3
goodbye, danny’s hat.
Hat: “Goodbye Danny, my faithful steed, my Planet needs me!”
Okay, who in the main cast isn’t present for this nice wrap up photo? Ethan, Mike, Joe…
Malaya, Jacob, Marcie, Lucy…
Take a look at the cast page. Swap Ethan for Carla and that’s the Garbage Roof Gang.
Bittersweet comes as bittersweet goes.
What’re we looking at?
The vast, mysterious, undefinable, inexplainable, and unexplored future lying ahead of each one of them.
A tree, two yellow things, and a car.
Or so I’m told.
The hat will be back for revenge after the big DoA corporate sellout Ruins It Forever.
With an eyepatch.
And a parrot.
Is Carla responsible for the hat’s departure, or is she just enjoying the moment?
(Now, if *Dina’s* hat was blowing away, that would be an emergency.)
Well, it definitely looks like she’s blowing it away.
The gang’s all here.
Well I for one am glad that we’ve recognized that what has happened in the college life of Joyce Brown and by extension a bunch of other weirdos is by no means common. I swear the past three months for them has felt like ten years!
Two months. Two months.
Season 1 covered August 29th through October 21st, with about a week and a half skipped along the way.
if only this was done at a better time though. All I can think is that they’re not socially distancing properly.
Me thinks Willis decided to leave coronavirus out of this universe for good reason. The sliding timescale would’ve brought the virus in to the spotlight for at most two weeks in Dumbiverse time. And then it would be awkward for it to just disappear after two weeks.
That hover text isn’t suggesting literal series end, right?
Just the end for Danny’s hat I’m guessing, but on the little preview descriptions for the strips on patreon he said it’s a series wrap on leaves for yesterday’s strip, so I guess that means we’re not going past winter?
At the current pace (and barring any more long skips), winter should last about 15 years.
By the time we get to “spring” the sliding timescale will reflect our current climate apocalypse. Expext lots of burning trees.
Flashforward a generation to when they are all the new Evil Overlords and a new class must unite to overthrow them.
like all you patreon folks have already seen tomorrow’s strip, yeah?
It’s a huge tone shift as we follow the journey of Danny’s hat as it lands on the heads of different people from different walks of life and changes their lives in significant ways, not always for the better.
Does it have Rod Serling giving you the cryptic morals?
It looks like it will be another night of studying for James Newsomb, as he heads to the Library to do some research on plays by Marlow.
While it looks like any other night to James, tonight is different. He won’t know when it happened, but the hat James found on the ground outside Reid Hall, will lead him into: The Twilight Zone.
Next thing James knows, he’s looking up ukulele tutorials
I want the hat to land on Asher’s head. Then he starts playing ukulele. He and Sal for a duo and start touring coffeehouses.
I don’t have patron but what I can tell you is that tomorrow’s strip will have a tree in it and something yellow (well two yellow things). Also I think a car.
this… really feels like the series ending
if it did end here, I’d be sad because it feels like there’s so much more to explore with these characters, particularly around Mike and Amber and Becky and how they develop now that.. things have changed significantly with them! But also, it feels like this would work very well as an ending so I think I’d be satisfied.
I’d be more curious about Carla, she is here for a big emotional finale, but her appearance in the comic overall was really limited.
^^^ i had many of these exact same thoughts.
Time skip?
Looks and feel Likes The End.
Its well written too.
And he mentioned a time skip at the end of Book 10, which I’m assuming this is.
I was thinking the same thing.. time skip to next semester?
He has a nearly 4 month buffer, guys!
No, it feels like a season ending.
Exactly. Fall season is over, winter season is next. I mean, we’ve seen previews of buildings with snow.
I’m confused by all the kerfuffle.
There will be a substantial time skip, so the next book/chapter will be like a soft reboot, but it’s not the end. Like you said, there are plenty of loose threads to tie into.
Tomorrow, they all work at a detective agency and the change is never addressed.
Do you want settings changes?
Because that’s how you get settings changes.
‘Dumbing of Ages Nights”
The time skip is actually backwards. Now they’re all kids solving paranormal mysteries together, Fuckface can talk, and it’s animated in Tom Ruegger’s distinctive style.
Damn, can’t believe we had another character death so soon.
The hat?
Hat Guy. He will be missed.
(Un?)Fortunately, Danny’s back.
Now I’m trying to figure out which one, between Danny and Hat Guy, is Jekyll and which one would be Hyde.
That looks like a finale pic the last panel,
SEASON TWO LET’S GO
Not a fan of Danny’s hat but he likes it and dang I’d be stressed over losing a good hat.
Do you really think Danny has Good Hat money? He probably picked it up at Target.
“May We Be Blessed With Uneducational Times” Book 10 Title?
And book cover image, frankly.
My first thought on seeing that big cast shot.
I was thinking “POSTER!!”
“May you have an educational Time” new Irish curse
I came here to say this but knew in my heart it had already been said.
Joyce, no, stop that at once. You do not wish on the Willis, he is a fickle and wrathful God.
And then joe shows up and they all make out dammit
That’s a funny way of spelling “fuck” you’ve got there.
Dorothy’s going in for a peck on the cheek right now…
And then they were all expelled for being on the roof.
I thought that was the one place that’s guaranteed to be trouble proof, (up on the roof).
It’s Garbage Roof, not No Consequences Roof.
awww :’) fuck that hat
Everything thoughtful has already been said, so I’ll just say that my favorite character referencing my favorite meme made me really happy. Thank you Willis. :3
Oh no! Who is Hat Guy without his hat???
I love all these faces so much! Carla, I can’t even deal
timeskip? Timeeeeeskiiiip!
That last panel scared me for a second. This is exactly how Shortpacked! ended.
Not enough soggies.
ALERT ALERT
HAND ON SHOULDER ALERT
DOROTHY’S HAND ON JOYCE’S SHOULDER ALERT
this ship is gonna sail one way or another and that’s all there is to it
the only other people touching each other are couples
IT’S HAPPENIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
xD
Sal’s leaning on Walky’s shoulder…
Siblings, especially siblings working on reconciling, get a free pass.
I ship it like FedEx!
♥♥♥
I’d have more confidence in the ship if Dorothy were pressing her booby to Joyce’s arm.
Gosh, this makes me so happy. I’m glad they have this little halcyon moment here.
It seems pretty well certain that the comic will in fact be continuing tomorrow, but, like others have said, I wouldn’t be too sad if it ended here!
That’s a lovely last panel. Given that there will be time-skipping months ahead, bed scenes are definitely not enough.
RIP Danny’s hat
June 7, 2017 – September 5, 2020
Joyce is Spiders Georg but for trauma.
Yup.
So long, Danny’s beret.
On to year #11…what kind of craziness will happen ahead?
Danny’s hat isn’t a beret, it’s a newsboy cap.
Berets don’t have brims by definition, and while I can’t say for sure they never have buttons, it’s not typical – either it’s flat, or it has a pompon or a…I’m not even sure what to call the little ‘tail’ of felt that comes out of the top of a typical Basque beret.
I’d refer to Danny’s had as a snap brim. I don’t know if that’s standard.
This would make sense, but dang, skipping Halloween AND Christmas?
Always winter, never Christmas.
Skip thanksgiving but there are 3-4 weeks after that before the end of semester. That’s 3-4 YEARS of comics. And end of semester is the end of a lot of things as kids and couples split for a couple weeks. Plenty of drama there.
Where are the previews? I’ve never seen one.
Prediction: After the timeskip, Danny will have found himself a different hat.
Today: a lovely, serene, hopeful END OF SCENE.
Tomorrow: we have a shot of a pile of rubble. After a moment, the top of the pile starts to shift, until slowly but unstoppably, BLAINE’S HAND reaches out, grasps at the sky, and grabs hold of the pile. Cut to black.
Producer’s note: rubble appears to be made out of BULLETS.
Needs Mike
Congratulations Shinji!
Aw man, I liked Danny’s hat. I think he’s been mostly getting better since he started wearing it.
Did Danny’s hat blow off in the wind, or did Carla throw it?
I was wondering if Carla threw it too, based on the look on her face in the last panel.
Now I want fanart of Danny as the Eleventh Doctor and Carla as River Song.
man, this looks like a “the end” panel
NOTE: Kidnappings Geoyc, who is kidnapped 10,000 times a semester, is an outlier and should not be counted
Carla’s expression makes me think she’s shouting at the top of her lungs. I wonder what she’s saying.
“Fly little hat-brother! Be free!”
No ukulele, no hat and honestly not that good of an egg tonight. This has not been a good day for New Danny.
…which is fitting enough for Garbage roof. On garbage roof there is only old Danny.
Wait. Is this… The End? Feels like it, a little…
timeskip incoming
Book title?
Spiders Geoyce
…Spiders Joyc?
Well, now that the toxic fathers have been vanquished. The next threat will be overbearing mothers. Looking at you Carol and Linda.
Aw, all the girlfriends lined up in the front
Trump: “I love the poorly educated.”
I know it was the wind, but in my mind Carla threw Danny’s hat with her mouth.
Or by just being her usual awesome self.
I have said it before, I’ll doubtless have cause to say it again. For me, one of the main points of this comic is Joyce her and two ladies. and here they are in the center of a beautiful, beautiful shot.
I look forward to what the future has to bring.
What are they all looking at? Is there a hovering aircraft nearby?
As the couples pair together in the last panel (Becky and Dina, Ruth and Billie, Joyce and Dorothy (WAIT, they’re just good friends, for now) ), Danny and Hat suffer a breakup.
If Willis skips Halloween…
SO.
MUCH.
RAGE.
I wish thee strength.
This honestly would not be a bad stopping point for the series as a whole
Let Willis have a well-deserved vacation, but we all want to embrace Jocelyn, watch Carol get her comeuppance, Mary have a redemption arc, Becky and Dina… being Becky and Dina, and SO MUCH MORE!!!
Mary is too evil to be redeemed. I’m more interested in seeing Asher’s character development.
“Nurse, I need 50cc’s of Heart Emojis over here, STAT!”
Everyone hating on Danny’s hat can absolutely suck it. Newsboy caps are great and I refuse to be persuaded otherwise. SUCK IT
Yeah. If they’re good enough for Piper Wright, they’re good enough for Danny Wilcox, dammit.
You have my sword.
https://gumroad.com/l/MdwkY
“No, no, I’ve got a cunning plan,” Willis said. “As soon as he’s got the hat, I’m going to kill the hat.”
That’s sweet.
Well, that’s the volume cover if I’ve ever seen one.
Danny: Noooo! My personality!
Given that said ‘personality’ put him and Ethan seriously at odds, I suspect that he’ll be happier without it!
Yup
No that was calling out Ethan’s complacency in Mike’s longtime abuse.
Well there is time and place for that. Outside his hospital room while he is in a coma and on the verge of death is neither the right time nor place…
Beautiful group strip♡. AND FINALLY THE HAT IS GONE!!!
This is the first time I’ve taken a potential Dorothy/Joyce ship seriously.
Goodbye, Danny’s hat
No-one ever liked you at all
Or the ukulele which
Drove his dorm-mates up the wall.
You crawled over his haircut
And you whispered into his brain:
“Be a manic pixie dream-boy,
And be aimlessly inane.”
And it seems to me, you lived your life
Like a beret in the wind
Never know which head to cling to
When the rain set in.
And they damned him for his Danning
But he was just a kid.
His beret took off long before
His legend ever did.
……okay, I want to be snarky, but honestly this was fucking brilliant.
DO FREE BIRD NOW
I kind of love Joyce wanting nothing to do with Danny.
What’re they all looking up at?
Sarah, step back! The front row is clearly being reserved for the lesbian couples of the series.
Truly
this was a DUMBING
OF AGE
Is that a subtle Terry Pratchett reference I see?
Or am I just conflating something?
“You are an outlier.”
Hmph. Considering how huge the first couple months have been for pretty much everybody, maybe Sarah was the outlier.
I’m really hoping that less than 0.1% of students at the university get kidnapped their freshman year. Because, if not, yikes.
But what’s Dan going to be without a hat?
It all makes sense now; Joyce cursed us. #thanksobama
Carla is totally admiring her hover drone, and Danny is flabbergasted as to why there are multiple jet engines attached to it
