I mean, hey, not your charges, not your problem, right? Chloe can’t object to that, right?
I have to wonder a bit what Billie really wants out of her floormates. Does she want friends? She certainly lost interest in admirers, given the cost, and because it reminded her of her highschool problems.
I know we likely won’t, but it’d be kind of interesting to see what Alice is up to these days.
I don’t think she wants anything from them anymore. She just wants Ruth and she wants to be kept away from people that she thinks she could ruin because of her low self-esteem.
She doesn’t want anything from them any more. She wanted them as admirers before when she just wanted to repeat the past but she’d have been perfectly I guess… content would be the most fitting word, with this completely driving them all away. I don’t think Alice is doing anything interesting, probably just hanging out and going to classes and avoiding all drama.
Billie doesn’t really seek out friends though and I doubt she is looking to actually make friends. She just wanted to sever everything to stop the toxic relationships she had with them.

This would make me feel crappy because I’d take this as “People don’t like me unless my girlfriend threatens them, and that’s not really them liking me ” Or even worse, “my girlfriend doesn’t even believe anyone will like me unless she threatens them.”

I can’t help but picture this as one of those corny double feature intermission cartoons.

It was two days ago during “Vote for Robin” that she formally gave up alcohol after Ruth came to the bar to drink with her. I don’t think Billie actually drank then, but she’d came back drunk the previous night and interrupted Walky and Lucy’s movie night.

Unhealthy relationships maybe should end.

Right now I don’t think it’s unhealthy, although it certainly has been in the past. The last interactions between the two have seemed healthy. I think this relationship can help both Billie and Ruth grow.
They are both unhealthy. In that sense, any relationship they were in would be unhealthy. Beyond that, I don’t think the relationship is that bad.
Ruth… Just check to make sure Billie is still breathing, okay? She’s been quiet and face down for a bit too long.
I think she’s just muffling laughter at Ruth’s increasingly extreme reactions.
That was my feeling too, especially because we don’t get any sign of movement whatsoever 😡
The shadow in Billie’s ear changes a little between panels 3 and 5, those two strands of hair are in a slightly different position, the pillow looks a little different, and the way the light reflects off her ponytail changes as well. Billie’s alive and moving, just not very much.
Billie actually fell asleep. Ruth is talking to herself here.

For me. This sounds like a reasonable deal. Billie is clearly happy of Ruth’s declaration.
