I will be very disappointed if the Doctor doesn’t comment about your comment. I’m honestly kinda surprised he hasn’t yet. (cue me being ninjaed in the time it took me to write this).
“Time! Is marching on.
And time, is still marching on.
This day will soon be at an end and now it’s even sooner.
And now it’s even sooner.
And now it’s sooner still. “
I turn my back to the wind To catch my breath,
Before I start off again driven on,
Without a moment to spend to pass an evening with a drink and a friend
I let my skin get too thin I’d like to pause,
No matter what I pretend, like some pilgrim who learns to transcend,
Learns to live as if each step was the end
Time stands still
I’m not looking back but I want to look around me now
Time stands still
See more of the people and the places that surround me now
Time stands still
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit stronger
Experience slips away
Experience slips away
Time stands still…
Well maybe if you got around to awakening your Stand like your mother’s been pushing you to, maybe you wouldn’t be having a problem with time moving, Walky.
I really don’t like this game Dorothy is playing. I know she is fighting her own feelings of inadequacy, and is trying to hold herself to a higher standard, but she’s being really …cold… to someone she supposedly loves. You don’t push those people away, they are there to give you strength when you need it.
Remember the part where everyone in this strip is a teenager, and thus makes terrible decisions. It’s okay a good portion of the comment section seems to forget about that part of life where you need to fuck up
Naruto, Harry Potter.. although I’ve read a lot there already… I’ve only read the one Steven Universe fanfic so far…
I ended up reading about climate change and universe expansion on Reddit. Kinda depressing :p it did pass the time a bit but isn’t the sort of thing to help me sleep.
Possibly, but browsing that site has proved.. problematic.. (eg. It often makes Firefox ask to record both audio and video) and I don’t always have the patience to wade through all the painfully bad fanfics. Or the unfinished, abandoned ones.
That was a setup for self-advertisment if I ever heard it
Here is one of my more silly Harry Potter fics, about the twins doing a STELLAR job helping their baby sister coming to terms with the trials and tribulations of growing up https://www.fanfiction.net/s/2838797/1/Bat-Bogey-Hex
I’m usually not into reading fanfics (might be, because I basically spent my teenage years with a friend together in a big meshed up fanfic we created in a messenger while writing. Thus our mutual love for writing was born… but I’m drifting of.)
Loved the first one with the twins (also still want to read the others), it made me snort a lot (I’m currently pretty sick, so I needed something like this – even though it was intended for inahc)
(snort as in “that’s funny”, because I can’t really laugh right now. Just wanted to clarify, ’cause on a second thought, it sounds pretty strange saying “it made me snort”)
Aw- thanks, I’ll be sure to read it (and the other ones as well)!
And thanks – it did lead into me and my friend studying languages and myself producing a bunch of pretty long – and sometimes reaaally bad ones, ’cause I knew nothing of thoroughly planning a story, I simply wrote (until university kinda punched creativity out of me, but I’m slowly starting again with my ideas and motivation) so thanks
Might be too late for “this evening” but if you haven’t tried the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, do go check them out. Those books literally saved my life and kept me from suicide when my mum died. <333
I like to think that Walky cleaned the mess off his chin and tied his hoody around his waist in the exact amount of time she took to look at her watch.
That shirt is also he same hue as the butt-taco shirt, so I like to think he also turned his shirt inside out or backwards in that amount of time as well.
Okay, is the rooftop inaccessible to those who aren’t superheroes or… adventurous enough to climb through the elevator roof hatch?
Or is the roof perfectly accessibly by lift yet inexplicably not a popular hangout spot?
Or do Americans not appreciate a good accessible rooftop as much as I do?
Yes, Walky likes doing that ‘Luke watching the sunset’ thing and he isn’t deliberately trying to appear wistfully heroic. The thing is that I’m wondering if that imagery is now going to be playing on Dorothy’s mind!
when i was young, on Sundays, my dad would get bagels, cream cheese, and lox ends and pieces from Snider's Grocery and when we got back from the near-useless Sunday School at temple, that was lunch and I'd read the comics while eating and during those moments I knew I'd become a bagel

I hate when time doesn’t stand still when I want
I will be very disappointed if the Doctor doesn’t comment about your comment. I’m honestly kinda surprised he hasn’t yet. (cue me being ninjaed in the time it took me to write this).
Oh, hey! I lucked out. Time DID stand still for me. ^^
Suck it Walky.
Great Scott!!
…but you’re anachronistic…time-stuff is your thing D:
Doesn’t mean it does it when I want!
Stardew Valley has been reminding me how much I hate time. I can’t seem to stop playing but I’m not really *enjoying* it…
Theres a mod that makes time stop in buildings at least. Well, and like slows the passage of time otherwise back to Harvest Moon speeds too, I think?

Smooth as fuck on whipping the hoodie off and tying it around the waist
I’m surprised as fuck that he’s wearing a clean, non butt-taco tee underneath.
Hoodie = bib.
“And, I’m totally not seeing someone up there.”
Definitely not! Perish the thought!
Listening to that ‘DING’ consumed valuable revising seconds, Dorothy.

Well maybe if you got around to awakening your Stand like your mother’s been pushing you to, maybe you wouldn’t be having a problem with time moving, Walky.
But which band would Walky’s stand be named after??

I really don’t like this game Dorothy is playing. I know she is fighting her own feelings of inadequacy, and is trying to hold herself to a higher standard, but she’s being really …cold… to someone she supposedly loves. You don’t push those people away, they are there to give you strength when you need it.
Damn kids.
eh, IMO, she’s being equally awful to everyone, including herself.
but she’s probably going to have to have her breakdown before she recognizes that.
Well, this isn’t Smarting of Age… Sometimes when you know everything, you have to learn these lessons the hard way.
“Walky why aren’t you talking to me? You’re allowed to talk to me. Let’s talk. You have 8.7 seconds to respond.”
Remember the part where everyone in this strip is a teenager, and thus makes terrible decisions. It’s okay a good portion of the comment section seems to forget about that part of life where you need to fuck up
That’s the point, you aren’t supposed to think that Dorothy is doing a good thing lol.
See Walky, this is why ya gotta learn how to control time.
Awww.
Poignancy makes water come out my eyes.
Aha! So THAT’S how you get Walky’s words and thoughts to be elevated!
….. you de-elevate.
….. huh. Is it really an elevator of the trip is a downer?
That’s really profound. I’m glad Walky has mechanisms to deal with him feeling like shit.
Speaking of which, I could use a distraction tonight. Anyone got some suggestions for ridiculous fanfics or other easy reading?
Any particular fandoms?
Naruto, Harry Potter.. although I’ve read a lot there already… I’ve only read the one Steven Universe fanfic so far…
I ended up reading about climate change and universe expansion on Reddit. Kinda depressing :p it did pass the time a bit but isn’t the sort of thing to help me sleep.
Hmmm. Anything under comedy or parody on FFN should be ridiculous as hell.
Possibly, but browsing that site has proved.. problematic.. (eg. It often makes Firefox ask to record both audio and video) and I don’t always have the patience to wade through all the painfully bad fanfics. Or the unfinished, abandoned ones.

It’s accessible to everyone; most people just don’t use for… SOME reason. http://www.dumbingofage.com/2016/comic/book-6/03-when-god-closes-the-door/roof-top/
Walky asks good questions, and I need to stop asking questions that have already been asked in-story.
Thanks.

One of my greatest complaints is that time continues when I’m not observing it.
Man. I wish I spent more time on an open rooftop in college. But then again I prolly would have caught more colds.
Time doesn’t move fast. They were in the elevator for a week.
“We can talk as long as this elevator ride.”
Yeah you see that’s the problem.
I’m shipping Amazi-Girl and Walky just to see Dorothy’s horrified reaction and descent into supervillainy.
THAT GOT REAL SO FAST.
