“Virginia is for Lovers”. I remember seeing that in the spring of 1971 on my high school’s senior class trip; and a quick check of Google tells me that VA has been using that slogan since 1969. They’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of that one.
Let’s keep an eye on it and see if it gets longer when dramatically appropriate. I once read a book where Batman artists straight up admit that his cape is however long looks coolest in a particular panel.
Now I’m remembering that point in Power Rangers In Space where Bulk, Skull, and all he other people stand up and announce they are “The X” Ranger but now they all are saying they are Amazi-Girl.
Anyone who looks at Billie/Ruth’s self-destructive ‘let’s spiral into suicide together because we’re poison’ thing and thinks it’s a good idea is already beyond the help of logic. They are blinded by cuteness.
The theme of “Love is an anchor that keeps our lives from spiraling out of control” is a big one in DoA. Whether it’s proven to be a truism, or a convenient self-deception, remains to be seen.
Well… maybe not? Other than Walky and Dorothy, who have both grown entirely for the better and will continue to do so, the main relationships of the comic (Ethan/Joyce, Billie/Ruth and Amber/Danny) have all been in some form poisonous and hurtful.
Yes, but they’ve all also provided stability and support to emotionally damaged people who desperately needed it. Young people still have a lot of sharp edges and points on their personalities, so their relationships tend to hurt a lot. If the relationship is strong enough, it can endure to the point that those sharp bits get worn down. Ethan/Joyce was based on a lie, so it didn’t survive, but some of Joyce’s pointy bits did get worn down in the process. Her next relationship will be better for it.
But that stability comes at the cost of making their problems even worse. Billie and Ruth aren’t helping each other; they’re pushing the worst parts of themselves more and more until something awful will eventually happen, and Amber has a boyfriend (and also the entire girl’s dorm) telling her how awesome she is so she’s becoming more entrenched in her alter ego. Look at them up there; They’re loving this, because neither of them understands how completely messed up it is.
I was going to mention Becky/Dina, but they aren’t at the point where they can call it a “relationship” yet. At this point it’s more of an “encounter”. They have had what maybe two kisses and an extended conversation?
*Shrugs* How many characters can you name in the comic who aren’t dangerously delusional or have some other serious issue that’s waiting to bite them in the ass?
I think it’s fairly telling that of all the parents shown in the Family Weekend arc, hers were the only ones who were very actively and vocally loving and supportive to their child in every way.
It’s never going to happen, and if in some bizarre case it were to happen it wouldn’t last beyond maybe two story arcs before Dorothy learns a lesson about picking herself up or something.
Besides, that’s already happening to Walky. It’d be redundant if Dorothy did it.
I dont know about these “delusions” you speak of. Danny’s and Amber’s acceptance of compartmentalizing Amber’s real, acceptable, perfectly logical, totally not her fault issues is a tactic that professionals use to help patients control a part of their personality that is having trouble and slowly integrate it into their normal mind.
I mean seriously, there is like nothing really wrong here (unless one has a completely unrealistic expectation of what human beings and thus relationships are like). oh Amber’s a criminal? yea good luck with that. Not a single person here isnt a criminal, hell i was speeding not 5 hours ago. And unlike most criminals who are fully capable of having a healthy relationship SHE is commiting crime in a subjectively good way.
Furthermore she has taken her completely justifiable rage issues brought on by someone who psychologically broke her and phsyically assaulted her who is also her !father! and turned it into something good. Many people take years to get this far in their healing process.
And what? Danny. Yea we cant have someone who likes literally everything about his girlfriend, respects her, admires her, fights for her and is even exploring sides of his own self WITH her.
There’s a huge difference between speeding and prowling around a college campus looking for people you can justify assaulting.
This is not an appropriate way to deal with her rage issues.
If all she did was walk around campus saving cats from trees and telling guys to put their beer away, then sure, she’d just be kind of weird, but the life Amber is living right is completely wrong in every definition of the word.
Lol not much sexyness there. Just a quick pencil drawing of what is supposed to be his face with a Catwoman mask and ears. I need to start practicing drawing more.
It’s specifically books that must end with everyone angsting in bed. (Well only books 3 and 4 end with a montage of bed scenes. Books 1 and 2 involve just Sarah and Joyce). Not last chapters can end with characters in bed, but they don’t always do.
That’s what I meant to say. (Though we haven’t seen the last panel of book 5 yet. That’s the end of next storyline. I mean there’s nothing stopping things from being switched up)
Don’t count on it. If she was going to split it would have happened by now. What’s going to happen is the realisation that she can’t just pretend to have two different personalities. danny’s actually good for that he’s breaking the walls she’s built between them and she can’t fix it without abandoning the whole system first.
Well, for the first time ever, I’m seeing interact with Danny and refer to interacions he had with Amber as if they’d happened to AmaziGirl. That is, she doesn’t say “That was Amber,” but rather “Yes, but we couldn’t do this.”
The dissociation personalities thing never occurred to me with Amber and AmaziGirl. Seems unnecessary though, having the “essence” of this notion is enough.
Wow. Yet another relationship that seesaws between cute-as-hell and oh-my-God-this-is-such-a-bad-idea. For some reason tonight’s strip brought the amber/amazi-girl split home like never before.
Her talking about Amazi-girl as a separate person while Amber feels more natural than her referring to Amber as a separate person while Amazi-girl. In both contexts I strictly mean while talking to someone who knows her dual identity. Even in that context it makes sense for Amber to talk about Amazi-girl like that, since it’s more natural for the masked character with the made-up name to be a facade. When Amazi-girl talks about Amber like she’s someone else, it really feels out of place.
Honestly. People would have such an easier time if they realized that the personality they create superficially in reaction to their enviroment is seperate from their inner mind and also seperate from the personality of the biological animal that is their physical existence.
The Human mind is not simple. And its better to recognize that we are literal freaks of nature, than to dilude oneself into thinking there is anything that is “normal”.
Between RuthXBillie and AmberXDannyXAmazi-Girl, the conservative Christian girl dating the gay guy whose closet has a revolving door seems downright healthy.
You know at first I thought it was odd when Danny called Amber some girl he knows, but now I think he really does belive Amber and Amazi-girl are diffrent people.
I don’t think Danny understands the psychological divide Amber is trying to keep up here. I think he’s just playing along because he the Amazi Girl persona is an exciting fantasy for him, and he doesn’t recognize that a lot of Amber’s actions are a sign of much deeper issues. So he enables the fantasy.
But he’s just replied “We’ve spent the last several hours stuck in a small room together” to Amazi-Girl’s “I miss you.” This makes no sense if he thinks they’re separate people.
Responding to the current Tweet, I have heard that constant freehand drawing of a character will result in making the character easier to keep on-model, or result in permanently changing said model to whatever comes out of the freehand practice.
Is there actually a law against subterranean mole empires?
And, Danny, the reason Amazi-Girl’s not making any sense in panel two is because you’ve blithely ignored both Amber and Amazi-Girl every time she’s tried to tell you the vitally important bit of information that you need to comprehend it.
Because Amber doesn’t have dissociative identity disorder. Amazi-Girl is a coping mechanism, not a genuine personality. Her identity issues are entirely her own making and she frequently slips.
I see. I think coping mechanism is a better term to describe it, but I do think Amber is trying to form an “Amazi-Girl” identity to deal with her problems. Because Amazi-Girl is strong and awesome and everyone loves her, and Amber is just some shut-in dork who was victimized and never forgave herself for it.
I believe it’s technically in violation of zoning and building codes, and probably mineral right laws, to say nothing of the implied legal hurdles of forming and arming an imperialist, expansionist paramilitary organization.
Awwwww. And then this reminder that they actually have found a balance that works for them. It is times like this that makes me wonder if I might be selling Danny short.
Maybe he is completely aware of how problematic the situation is, have considered his options and decided that being there as a Good Thing for Amaziegirl is worth all the trouble and potential pitfalls. Maybe…
Amazi-Girl can cuddle Danny and Amber can cuddle Danny. It is amazing that they don’t blink at most sexual pairings or awakenings, but one guy cuddling two different girls on the same day seems taboo.
At this point everyone who should have figured it out has. Nobody else has spent much time with both sides of her yet. And Willis likes his superhero tropes, even if they’ve been long acknowledged to be maddeningly annoying.
The candidate pool isn’t limited to just brunettes too. Other Rachel is considered to be a more likely candidate than Amber according to some of the girls on the same floor as the main characters.
That does seem like a reference to the Incredibles.
The alt text meanwhile brings to mind Kim Possible where snowmen started to come alive. BECAUSE EVERYONE TAKES WATER FROM THAT RADIOACTIVE LAKE FOR SCHEMES, WHY.
The Incredibles didn’t have a Mole Man – the name of the guy at the end was ‘The UnderMiner’.
*ahem*
“ATTENTION SURFACE DWELLERS!!
I am the UnderMiner!
I may be beneath you, but NOTHING is beneath me!!
I hereby declare WAR on peace and happiness!”
They’re almost painfully cute together, aren’t they? I’m still worried about her tendency to talk about her civilian identity in the third person. However, notice that it slipped when she started snuggling!
Like Catwoman with some versions of Batman, Danny may yet be Amber’s salvation.
I don’t think it slipped actually. I read it as “you and I couldn’t do this” ref. herself and Danny.
Look at the 2nd panel. “I’m sorry Amber was cross with you”. then “I miss you’.
Danny may be play acting, I don’t think she is. As Amber, she knows she is using AG to focus all her feelings of rage. But, as AG, she really is a different person, has she ever referred to Amber in any way but “she” and “her” or by name? Like she, as Amber, doesn’t count.
When she crashes it will be a real explosion.
Now she stated her depth of feelings for Danny boy, I sort of fear for Ethan, if Dan swings that way eventually.
Danny still doesn’t get it, does he? Amber and Amazi-Girl aren’t just Amber putting on a costume, Amazi-Girl is her own, separate personality. The whole “Referring to herself as another person” thing isn’t just for safety or protecting her identity. They really don’t seem to see each other as the same person.
He doesn’t have to be a trained master of psychology to recognise that something is off or that a behaviour will be harmful mentally in the long run; he would need to be a lot less oblivious though which I do not see happening.
Plenty of people create a seperate personality. Many women who live in bad areas when they go out on the streets and “put on their bongo face”. Almost every state performer you’ve ever seen. Trans people who arent out live it day to day in the face people who dont know who they really are. I do it everytime i visit my parents. Drag queens do it. Men are taught to do this since humans are incapable of being the unhuman monsters our society tells them to be, and stay mentally healthy.
The strength of “putting on the mask” and “being the mask” is different depending on the person, situation and the level in which they need to pretend to be someone else.
But almost all of us do it. And it kinda weirds me out that more people cant see themselves in Amazi-Girl.
We all did it and some probably still do when posting online on forums and social media. Hiding behind a Nickname and posting stuff we could never dream of saying to someone in real life.
I was like that years ago but now I am more open with people around me.
This name stays with me though since it is part of me as I had it since I first got Internet back in the 90s and lots of my real life friends knows it.
Maybe, maybe not (see above for some discussion of whether it’s a true separate personality).
In any event, I’m not sure why anyone would expect Danny to “get it” — he’s a teenage boy who probably isn’t taking psychology courses this year (if ever). Nothing in his life would prepare him for Amber’s life experiences, and he still doesn’t know the whole story.
I couldn’t get mine to work. No matter what I tried, it always generated partly cloudy, 30% chance of precipitation, highs in the low 80s. Hardly doomsday weather.
Haven’t built anything like that, not that I really need to. built a hard-wired back door into my old boss Megatron’s computer systems while fixing them, now I get to play with his toys. Ground-bridging really speeds up travel…
Becky learned about Joyce’s assault, planned a party, was kissed by Dina, and moved into Billie’s place. Sarah had an argument with Joyce, discovered Jacob was seeing Raidah, and gave up on giving up on him. Sal had a fight with Malaya over Marcie. Danny talked to Dorothy about his sexuality and argued with Amber about drinking. Billie was set up in a situation where Ruth expects her to share things and Joyce expects her not to. And some other little things like that.
All in all, not very much as chapters go. I blame not enough Mike.
3oranges summed it up pretty well. I mean there’s nothing to match the past two chapters in terms of reveals, (With Becky popping up, coming out to Joyce, and revealing that she’s now homeless, or Joyce breaking up with Ethan). but there were a lot of little things. (Like a flare up of conflict with Sarah/Raidah involving Jacob, Danny coming out as bi to Dorothy, Becky finding out about when Joyce was assaulted, Sal’s confrontation with Malaya, Dina kissing Becky and asserting that she’s just as mature as the rest of the room). Maybe some things like Ruth not catching on to the drunken party goers, and Amber just missing out on interacting with Sal made it seem a little anticlimactic compared to what we were expecting?
So for the short version, this arc has been running since last March, and has been more about moving a lot of storylines forward and setting up future conflicts than a build up to a big reveal.
No weather-altering doomsday devices. Not because they’re illegal, but because they don’t work.
Seriously. We tried it on Canada back in ’98. Not only did they not notice the difference – they actually liked it because despite the ice and destruction, IT WAS WARMER!
I thought this was a more ‘realistic’ comic. How did Amazi-Girl jump like a meter and a half straight up when Amber said her strength comes from a low center of gravity? Even Amazi-Girl has only claimed that her bones were made super-dense in a lab accident?
I would be enraptured by a drug plot. Because it wouldn’t be a “what you’re doing is illegal, you might get caught” deal since vigilantism is already that. It would be a “How? Why?” met with “At first it was just caffiene pills to stay awake then it was a few pain killers to cover the bruises on the really bad nights but it easy to slip into some of the things that may be responsible for a few rage moments and demonstrations of super-strength”, “But you’ll kill yourself!”, “I never really liked my life.”
She’s also jumped from a roof, used a pair of wire cutters to zipline down a power line, then landed on a speeding truck. Also she scales walls all the time using a grappling hook, parkours across rooftops, and jumps down from huge archways.
Science doesn’t just like big butts, it breaks the rules for them.
Awww, ending on a nice moment between Amazi-Girl/ Amber and Danny. I can think of several ways their relationship may eventually crash and burn, but at least they’re enjoying this moment together.
Phew…. we’ve reached the end of the storyline! I’m looking forward to the upcoming Dina-centric storyline.
…you could have done that at the party if the entirely reasonable suggestion of Danny breaking up with Amazi-girl and dating Amber was actually followed.
But prison’s for lovers!
or was that Virginia
I guess either way you’d know exactly where Danny is!
“Virginia is for Lovers”. I remember seeing that in the spring of 1971 on my high school’s senior class trip; and a quick check of Google tells me that VA has been using that slogan since 1969. They’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of that one.
Which is odd given that I believe you have to drive across the border if you’re interested in certain types of loving… Ah the south.
If reading about Supreme Court cases has taught me anything, in 1967 they were against loving.
Well-played.
Or, if you’re a fan of early 2000’s screaming, Ohio is for lovers.
I CAN’T MAKE IT ON MY OWWWWWN
Because my heart is in Ohiiiioooo!
As a Virginian, I’m not sure how much difference there is sometimes…
… Virginia?
Get your ass to Mars!!
Wait… wrong movie
awww so cute
I’m prepared to overlook her other flaws when the last panel happens
Oh my, your cape is looking exceptionally turgid there, amazi-girl!
No evidence of wind anywhere else … maybe she’s got underwires? 🙂
It’s becoming a Batman cape.
Let’s keep an eye on it and see if it gets longer when dramatically appropriate. I once read a book where Batman artists straight up admit that his cape is however long looks coolest in a particular panel.
Ha! We needed no confirmation.
If your cape remains turgid for longer than 4 hours, consult a tailor for advice immediately.
It’s a dramatic nuzzle!
She leaped, the cape is falling to catch up.
I really do like these two.
Why? They both have developed so much delusion about Amazi-girl that the nut house is their next destination after college.
Well amzi-girl will probably be in jail.
But not Amber, of course. Amber’s fine because she’s neither Amazi-Girl nor Danny.
Wait, people think Amber is Danny? Is he a ventriloquist dummy, or is it more of a Tyler Durden thing?
No, Danny is Amazi-Girl.
No, we are ALL secretly Amazi-Girl.
*stands up dramatically to Roman general* I…am Amazi-Girl!
Now I’m remembering that point in Power Rangers In Space where Bulk, Skull, and all he other people stand up and announce they are “The X” Ranger but now they all are saying they are Amazi-Girl.
“It’s Amazi-ng time”! maybe?
Man: I’m Amazi-Girl and so is my wife!
Woman: Oh, rather!
She is Edmond Dantes… She is my father, and my mother, my brother, my friend, she is you and me… she is all of us
I am imagining Blaine in place of Crassus for this.
I’m Batman……….
…I mean Amazi-girl….
…Naa, I’m Hulkbuster Batman…
I am Spartacus.
Yes but they’re really, really cute together so i can forgive them a lot of sins for that alone
Huh. I didn’t know “being psychologically healthy” was a prerequisite for being a cute couple. Better go notify the Billie/Ruth shippers.
Anyone who looks at Billie/Ruth’s self-destructive ‘let’s spiral into suicide together because we’re poison’ thing and thinks it’s a good idea is already beyond the help of logic. They are blinded by cuteness.

He gave them a ship name. I’m guessing it’s canon.
Dina also learned Becky has feelings for Joyce, tho.
*Shrugs* How many characters can you name in the comic who aren’t dangerously delusional or have some other serious issue that’s waiting to bite them in the ass?
Note: Amber’s dad doesn’t count >:(
Dorothy’s got her act together.
I think it’s fairly telling that of all the parents shown in the Family Weekend arc, hers were the only ones who were very actively and vocally loving and supportive to their child in every way.
Dotty ? Wait until she sees how her grades are dropping. That won’t be fun for their relationship.
It’s never going to happen, and if in some bizarre case it were to happen it wouldn’t last beyond maybe two story arcs before Dorothy learns a lesson about picking herself up or something.
Besides, that’s already happening to Walky. It’d be redundant if Dorothy did it.

Aww cuties!
And guys, the only Danny as Catwoman fan art I’ve seen is INSUFFICIENT.
“I will call you Tiger Man. Show me your CLAWS.”–Princess Ardala on Buck Rogers
Princess Ardala? Rowr.
I don’t get your reference but I think I understand your reference. OKAY. POINT.
So? Let’s see it! Put up or shut up
*has had absolutely no draw time, despite the amount spent on reading these comments*
Alright, tried to but terrible at drawing. This
Awww, tried looking at the pic, but the site’s too busy. Just how sexy did you make CatDanny…?
Crap, we killed the site.
Lol not much sexyness there. Just a quick pencil drawing of what is supposed to be his face with a Catwoman mask and ears. I need to start practicing drawing more.
That is very sufficient thank you.
But… there hasn’t been a montage of everyone in bed. Unless the next storyline continues through the same night.
Maybe I should check if every story actually ends that way or just often enough that I think they do.

I mean there’s nothing stopping things from being switched up)
Surprise us, Willis! Or not, we’re not your bosses.
No crime (unless I happen to be committing the crime)
-Amazi-girl
No six-state murder sprees.
-unless i am committing them
Cap it at five.
Awww, how nice! And what a reminder that Amber will probably suffer a devastating dissociative split of personality very soon.
Don’t count on it. If she was going to split it would have happened by now. She also says that “amber is sorry”, tho.
This is, IMHO, the most optimistic outcome. I hope that is what happens.

Brains are awesome that way. And yeah nobody is normal or else life would be boring.
Between RuthXBillie and AmberXDannyXAmazi-Girl, the conservative Christian girl dating the gay guy whose closet has a revolving door seems downright healthy.
you make a fair point, but becky will now nuke all revolving doors
Danny has been using that revolving door a few times too.
Joyce and Ethan aren’t dating anymore…? and there really wasn’t anything healthy about it for either of them.
But… but… everybody needs a weather dominator D:
Also… D’aaaawwww.
Hey now, Danny just said no crime he never said anything about weather dominators, and owning a weather dominator isn’t a crime.
When weather-altering doomsday machines are outlawed, only outlaws will have weather-altering doomsday machines.
Yep, make it rain/snow in CA, make it quit raining in TX (please, the reservoirs have been at flood stage for over a month now).
Yerp, we also need some rain here in AZ.
She actually flew! No way she could have leaped up there unless she flew up to that ledge.
😉
Of course. Dina gave her a Magic Velociraptor Feather.
Plenty of surfaces for her to work with; multiple jumps and/or some quick climbing is perfectly doable.
Damned impressive, but perfectly doable.
You know at first I thought it was odd when Danny called Amber some girl he knows, but now I think he really does belive Amber and Amazi-girl are diffrent people.
So this should be interesting.
No subterranean mole empires? Look, Danny, I know you don’t want to break the law, but be willing to live a little!
What about armour that networks with your mind, & makes you look like the local alpha sentient of the planet you’re on? That OK?
Okay, really, would you really give up subterranean mole empires for love?
Those things don’t come cheap, you know
Yep, love is hella expensive.
That last panel … man, I didn’t realize the constraints of Danny and Amber’s relationship til now.
I know, right? Why did Danny skip out on his “learn everything about dissociative identity disorder in an hour” class?
Because Amber doesn’t have dissociative identity disorder. Amazi-Girl is a coping mechanism, not a genuine personality. Her identity issues are entirely her own making and she frequently slips.
I see. I think coping mechanism is a better term to describe it, but I do think Amber is trying to form an “Amazi-Girl” identity to deal with her problems. Because Amazi-Girl is strong and awesome and everyone loves her, and Amber is just some shut-in dork who was victimized and never forgave herself for it.
Yes, exactly. Amazi-Girl is a construct, not a genuine unique personality.
In theory, land ownership extends underground right to the core, so he’d need to get rights to wherever he sited his empire.
I believe it’s technically in violation of zoning and building codes, and probably mineral right laws, to say nothing of the implied legal hurdles of forming and arming an imperialist, expansionist paramilitary organization.
to be clear, danny never actually spoke the words in the alt-text. just a thought…
And so, Danny’s life of crime was cut short before it even had a chance to blossom. RIP
I do look forward to a discussion of how he found getting buzzed. It’ll probably happen with Ethan or maybe awkwardly with Walky! 😛
I guess I’m going to have to find a new partner for that subterranean mole empire I was planning now…
Rats.
Mmm, not a good idea. Rats and moles do not get along at all.
You could always talk to Mole Man.
Huh. That cutesy smile looks a little disturbing on Amazi-Girl’s face.
Still cute, but… it’s almost sinister in its innocence.
Maybe…
In unrelated news it’s my birthday and I got myself a shiny new patron badge! Excuse me, I got some bonus content to catch up on…
Amazi-Girl can cuddle Danny and Amber can cuddle Danny. It is amazing that they don’t blink at most sexual pairings or awakenings, but one guy cuddling two different girls on the same day seems taboo.
No Subterr.. hey now, lets not get crazy with those promises.
I mean, they look the same, so why can’t anyone figure it out?
Then again, Billie thought Sal was Amazi-girl, so…
Christopher Reeve’s Superman shows you how it’s done!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIaF0QKtY0c
At this point everyone who should have figured it out has. Nobody else has spent much time with both sides of her yet. And Willis likes his superhero tropes, even if they’ve been long acknowledged to be maddeningly annoying.
How many short brunette girls do you think there are at this campus?
The candidate pool isn’t limited to just brunettes too. Other Rachel is considered to be a more likely candidate than Amber according to some of the girls on the same floor as the main characters.
This is a suspiciously specific thing to swear off.
Danny, are you planning a extraterranean mole empire ?
I thought it was an Incredibles reference myself.
That does seem like a reference to the Incredibles.
The alt text meanwhile brings to mind Kim Possible where snowmen started to come alive. BECAUSE EVERYONE TAKES WATER FROM THAT RADIOACTIVE LAKE FOR SCHEMES, WHY.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mole_Man
The Incredibles didn’t have a Mole Man – the name of the guy at the end was ‘The UnderMiner’.
*ahem*
“ATTENTION SURFACE DWELLERS!!
I am the UnderMiner!
I may be beneath you, but NOTHING is beneath me!!
I hereby declare WAR on peace and happiness!”
Heh. When she says “we couldn’t do this,” it looks like she’s touching herself.
*looks again*
…Only if she has a penis and/or a really long thumb.
I am only commenting to mention just how SCARY Ruth’s smile looks in the banner behind your table, in the photo.
That is all.
Yeah. And the fact that he seems to get it so little makes me worry a little for their relationship :/
No, he really doesn’t get it. This is because Danny isn’t trained to recognize psychological problems.
He doesn’t have to be a trained master of psychology to recognise that something is off or that a behaviour will be harmful mentally in the long run; he would need to be a lot less oblivious though which I do not see happening.
You have unrealistic expectations of one’s ability to notice mental illness.
Amber’s trying to make them separate people, they’re not actually split. It’s a coping device, not an actual disorder. And no, Danny doesn’t get it.
^ very much thus.
We’re getting too many sweet moments. Someone’s dying on the next page, mark my words.
Or someone get… A REALLY BAD PAPER CUT!!! *dun-dun-dun!!*
I think the next page is Dina waking up.
face full of becky
Actually, face full of this:

So, who’s more dysfunctional: these kids, or Ruth & Billie?
awwwwww.
A weather-altering doomsday machine? Didn’t Dr. Drakken have one of those?
According to Slipshine, there’s a lot more you two could be doing…..
Oh, come on now… who HASN’T built a weather-altering doomsday machine in their lifetime?
I couldn’t get mine to work. No matter what I tried, it always generated partly cloudy, 30% chance of precipitation, highs in the low 80s. Hardly doomsday weather.
Melting the icecaps isn’t doomsday enough for you?
I’m somewhat of a hipster when it comes to doomsday devices. If everyone is doing it, it’s no fun anymore.
I thought my tornado generating machine was working, but then I realized I lived in Oklahoma.
My earthquake generating machine is more successful, though.
I know some oil companies that would like to speak to you… 😛
Haven’t built anything like that, not that I really need to. built a hard-wired back door into my old boss Megatron’s computer systems while fixing them, now I get to play with his toys. Ground-bridging really speeds up travel…
I’m so un-hip! Back int he Nineties I built a weather-altering antidoomsday device. Out of monkeys.
The cool kids didn’t even bother to laugh.
woah storyline over already? I feel like nothing really happened this arc
So tomorrow, Walking With Dina starts!
EEEEEE CAN’T WAIT EEEEEEEEEEEE
If people aren’t drawing Danny as Catwoman, they should draw him as a cat girl. That’s a better fit anyway.
Second panel Amazi-girl face is possibly the most adorable face ever.
Too much starch in her cape?
She’s just excited to see him.
And she jumps in and out of trees all the time.
That was supposed to be a reply to Spencer… forgot to click reply.
