Amyartofey drew the most adorablest series of images of young Walky and Sal. I mean, look at them. Pinches, the cheeks must have them, forever. It’s also a little heartbreaking, considering.
On top of the expressions staying the same vs. becoming bitter, Walky’s outfits keep mostly the same color scheme across panels while Sal’s outfit colors fade from light to dark to drab.
The clothes and expressions are pretty telling but what breaks my heart the most is the body language. Walky starts off inclusive of Sal with his expansiveness and that… goes away, until the last one where he’s *crowding her out* with his expansive body language. And Sal’s body language just coils up in response (and in that last one, she looks like a pissed off snake about to strike).
Oh yes feels. The slow change and the slow staying-the-same.
Aw, cute kids! Fantastic job Amyartofey!
Awwwww… 🙁
*slow clap*
3rd Panel – Walky’s got the Yellow Stripe.
3rd panel: It’s Walky!
it’s in his pose.
Hunh. I just noticed.

Well played.

But… where’s Billie? 🙂
On top of “adorable” & “spot-on” & all that, I think the first two’d make really excellent gravatars. (The 3rd one doesn’t make me happy.)
